What resolution is best for your photos?
Scan resolution is measured in dots per inch (dpi). The higher the resolution, the more detail is captured from the original photograph, although the quality and detail present in the original photo will always be the limiting factor.
Choosing between 300 dpi and 600 dpi depends mainly on how you plan to use your digital images. For viewing on a computer, TV or mobile device, sharing online, or making prints at approximately the original size, 300 dpi is usually sufficient. If you may want to enlarge, crop or make larger prints from your photographs, 600 dpi gives you greater flexibility.

Your scanned photographs are supplied as high-quality JPEG files as standard. TIFF files are also available if required.
How long will it take to scan my photos?
Turnaround time depends on the size of your order, but most photo scanning orders are completed and returned within 7 days.
Do I need to count all my photos before sending them?
No. We only need an approximate number of photographs so that you can estimate the cost of your order. We will confirm the final number once your photographs have been scanned.
Will you return my original photographs?
Yes. Your original photographs will be carefully returned to you with your completed order. If you would prefer us to securely dispose of them instead, please contact us to discuss this.
